Fellow Gambians,

Please accept this as our sincere appreciation of the moral support you have
all offered regarding the recently detained Gambians by the INS.

As we have said earlier,  we were waiting for the attorney to give us more
details about the situation. However, members of the Atlanta Gambian
community have also decided to take a proactive move to try and raise funds
so that we can have some money in place just in case the fees are high.

With that in mind, please find below an announcement for a meeting organized
by the Gambian Community in Atlanta on behalf of those being currently
detained:
