Hello Mr.Gassama,
Everything you said on your posting is true. Things have changed drastically in this country since 9/11 and the President is using his war on terrorism to foster his own political gain. These days, the American people will support anything to combat terrorism. Now,the days of fighting human rights have taken a back seat. The civil libertarians are crying foul to no avail. The neo-conservatives are running this government and the President seems to go along with their wishes. These are his main supporters and they have his ears. It is politics as usual in Washington and we all know
it's local.
Weyeh.
