Another Paymaster disappears with Shs. 200bn

Radio Simba has reliably learnt that a UPDF pay clerk attached to CMI has disappeared with two hundred million shillings. Our source at CMI says Patrick Kidamba a private, made away with the money between Wednesday and Thursday this week. The money is reported to have been for operations and hazard allowances. Kidamba's wife who he left at the CMI base in Kitante is said to be going through questioning as operatives mount a search for the husband. This comes only weeks after the Army Commander Aronda Nyakairima effected changes in the UPDF accounts section. This was meant to counter the multiple cases where paymasters disappear with billions of shillings. When our reporter called the chief of Military Intelligence Col. Noble Mayombo his phone was on voice mail while that of the Army Spokesman Maj. Shaban Bantariza was off.
