Good Morning, Mr.President: ARMS DOCKED AT BANJUL PORTS-NATIONAL SECURITY CRISIS!!!
  Good Morning, Mr. President,
We want to know why you are spending too much money on arms and ammunition these days. Are you ready to go to war before elections? What is your agenda? Who are you threatening at this hour? Are you trying to tell Senegal that you have modern arms? We want to know. Reports reaching us suggested that a container filled with arms recently docked at the Banjul Ports. The said container, we were told by State House sources was from Ukraine. Our ailing economy cannot sustained such useless expenditure. While, you are busy building new armories in Kanilai, the average farmer is still not paid. Since 2004 to date this regime is indebted to farmers. They promised farmers that there will be no credit buying this year, when in actual fact this is the order of the day. The monies used to purchase the said arms could have been used to pay the poor farmers, who are finding life very difficult these days.

  JAMMMEH SECURES NEW ARMS
Mr. President, it is unfair to take all the heavy artilleries to Kanilai, just to protect your own selfish interest. These soldiers in Yundum, Fajara, Bakau, Kudang, Basse and Farafenni should be equipped just like Kanilai. You will be surprised as to who leaked the said information to us, but the source is in the heart of your government. It is gathered that all armories are now manned by Yahya’s so called loyalists who reports to him on a daily basis about arms movements in the various barracks. Kanilai we are told, is having series of armories. The State Guard commander is not aware of some of the armories. This shows Jammeh’s lack of faith in the military. These armories are outside the village and are being managed by Musa Jammeh and some foreign guards, who we will name if Jammeh continues to make noise.

  ALL THE ARMS IN KANILAI
There is nothing wrong to arm one’s army, but the approach taken by Jammeh is wrong. Jammeh is not fair with our military. The issue of defense should be left in the hands of Lang Tombong and Peter Singhateh. Yes, he is the commander-in- Chief, but that doesn’t give him the free blanket to take the greater part of the arms to Kanilai. Our military barracks need to be secured as well. It should be armed just like Kanilai. National Security is paramount in any country’s well being. Jammeh is not concerned about the security of our soldiers and Gambians. What we are seeing today is a failed President, trying to built more armories in Kanilai. Jammeh should remember that these arms were purchased from hard earned monies belonging to Gambian tax payers and it is totally unacceptable to divert such arms to Kanilai.

Mr. President, what is the point of having jet fighters when trained pilots like Peter Singhateh are not given free hands to train the military crew. The jets are now gathering dust after we spent millions of dollars just to secure them. Keys of the said jets are now in hands of the commander-in-Chief Yahya Jammeh. What are you afraid of Yahya? Leave the boys to have custody of the said fighter jets or you resell it. It doesn’t make sense to have those jets when Peter and others are not allowed to even touch them. This is ridiculous, Mr. President. Our military and men in uniform deserves better treatment.
Mr. President, each time we talked about national security issues, you and your government will accuse us of being unpatriotic. We are good citizens and will not accept one man to take our country into ransom. Our national security is in tartars. Our people are today more in secured than before July of 1994. Jammeh has messed up with the country’s peace and stability. Every blessed day he will create more enemies than friends. This was not the type of Gambia we as a nation anticipated when the military boys came in eleven years ago.
Mr. President, your down fall is imminent. The events of July 1994 are being repeated today in The Gambia. We all remembered the days when people openly discussed the possible ending of Jawara’s government and the growing hardship in the country. We are living in the same situation today. Are you not worried about the growing discontent in the country Jammeh? What will such discontent lead to? Wake up Mr. President, the country is sinking.
Mr. President, all the brains in the army, police, NIA are gone. What do you foresee in days to come? The said institutions are now manned by novice. You will be living in a fool’s paradise if you think that Gambians are in support of your callous and criminal activities. Many families have been wronged by Yahya Jammeh. It is not going to be easy to forgive. We cannot forget the atrocities committed by this monster President. He spent all his life to frame innocent Gambians in the name of national security. This Jammeh madness must stop, if we want to succeed as a nation.
Mr. President, we do know that your government is enjoying excellent bilateral ties with Ukraine and Cuba, but why can’t you channeled the help from that country into our ailing health, agriculture and educational sectors respectively. We do not need arms at this hour. What we want is food security, good health care, education and transportation network. The arms we have in stock is enough for now. We rest our case. Have a great day….
