Good we have something to read as a reference of what GCC is for. Just like CORDEG's the vision/mission it has everything in it (nothing is left out).

The action points (the self assigned tasks) and what currently state of affairs (if you like our struggle)........there exist a vacuum. How that will be bridge is not reflecting in what I read so far.

We will "remove Yahya, will set up a transitional council.........etc"; what is obviously missing is the legal frame of your authority to do so. GCC doesn't seem to see a need for 'A Republican Constitution', if they do is not reflecting in what is put out for our consumption. Isn't this a dictatorship in the making or you assuming the supposed good is best for us. Isn't that what we had under Jawara and Yahya? No laws and no institutions but individuals dictating our affairs as it suits their agenda/convenience.

Anyways good luck with this agenda of removing Yahya. I will like it but can't viably see how is going to be done. I mean many of the known members of GCC have been hiding in America, Europe or elsewhere in Africa just like I have. Or you mean my farming uncles, aunties who doesn't even need a government for their livelihood will jump the streets of Banjul with Ousainou/Halifa, Hamat, OJ, etc leading.............Then the brains from America, Europe, etc will land at Yundum will the packaged solution. Again good luck!

Compatriots we have a problem (no doubt) that require us finding a realistic common sense practical political starter solutions. A FOOD FOR THOUGHT - "A farmer doesn't broadcast poison over his field because too much weeds; that will equally kill the crops - s/he uses primitive hoe to get rid of the weeds one strip at a time, day after another till completion"

Let us not continue burring our heads in the sand comforting ourselves we are doing the right things. I would argue over 90% of all what we are doing has no direct bearing on solving the Banjul problem. Maybe let me put it a better way - we need to reorganize all what we doing - starting from the foundation concrete (if you're a builder). Without foundation suspension in the air at lintel beam level will not get us a house. Gravity will always pull us down.

Agree or disagree we now know what GCC is about - thanks again!

Burama
