Dave,
I liked your teasing question! so my anwser is;the blindness that is
affecting some of us can be cured by cataract surgeons at the eye care unit
within the political hospital of Gambia L(laugh).Anyway,it depends on what
blindness we are seeing before us David. If it is the mind's blindness then
education is the surgeon, indeed if it is our political eyes that are
affected, then refer to suggestion number one!

Dr.Saine was never one of my darlings as far as the debates on line are
concerned because we had some short-lived ping-pong in the past but i have
relatives and even "goros" who were school mates of the guy(which i am sure
he didn't know before). Therefore,if the social blindness that affects some
minds here had affected me i would have sided with him from the on set based
on my relations with Sheikh Saine from Farafeni or Others like Pa saine and
Fana Saine who were my seniors at Armitage. I could have played the card
like others thus ignore objectivity only to support Dr.Saine blindly from
the beginning(even though the guy didn't know me before)! Ofcourse i waited
for yesterday when i saw this golden quotation from him to show every one
that i might be one-eyed in politics but not yet blind!
Politics doesn't form a good pair with pride! if all is said and done
politics revolves around ineterest,so whoever carries what interests the
other party is acceptable. What interests me in what Saine wrote was nothing
other than the fact that,he was objective and facilitating a dialogue
between us just for the interest of the Gambia our home land. That is why we
see terms like "cross-carpeting" in party politics. So i might have
cross-carpeted for that moment only to steal some wisdom from him and then
stand firm again to defend my believes!
Whether people reply or not when ever i see some good or bad written by
anyone here i will step in and speak ma mind bra!
Anyone who's bent on playing the cards with chronic hatred and unwarranted
sour behaviour is bound to fail!
As one poet says:"sulkiness causes sunken cheeks at a prime age".
So let those seeing lead us whilst the surgeons with good eyes are bent on
curing the rest,David.
Thank you for teasing me though, i liked it!

Yeropulloh.
