Buharry, thanks for your forward. The plight of the Palestinians is past
the point of praying, negotiations, and endless talks. The Arabs are at a
crossroads and it seems to me that there is a lot of reluctance on their
part. Their "love everything US" is stopping some of them from doing what
they know they should do, send their forces to help the Palestinians. Their
current posture is the same as that of the Southern African states in
particular and African states in general, during Apartheid in South Africa.
When US oil interests were in jeopardy in that region, they did not wait for
the Gulf States to deliberate before they jumped on Iraq. So, why are the
Arabs, knowing what the US intensions are, engaged in endless appeals to
America, who is clearly on the side of Israel? Their attempt to mobilize
forces to stop this abuse from Israel would bring sanity to the US and
Israel overnight. The US knows the intensions of the Iraqis, Syria, Libya,
Iran, etc, which is why it came with this scheme to start hinting of
possible bombing of these states in the name of "Supporting Terrorism".
Thus, these states are consumed with trying to fend off this label by the
US. The remaining so-called "Moderate States", like Egypt, Saudi Arabia,
Kuwait, Jordan, etc., have already sold their souls to the US and can never
break from this stranglehold. The rest of the so-called "Democratic World"
are playing their part as usual, with "lip service". You cannot stop a war
monger with just endless negotiations. Does the US deliberate with anyone
they intend to pounce on for long? Does Israel think twice when they want
to attack any of its neighbors, especially the Palestinians? No. World War
I and II did not end with negotiations, but nations doing what the situation
called for (counter assult) and it ended. This Israeli plunder has the
blessing of the US, and any of the nations that call themselves "Friends of
the US" that stay mute on this issue because of fear of offending the US are
equally guilty in my opinion. I'm sick of hearing this bastardized appeal
for Arafat to stop the suicide bombers. That is nothing but a poor excuse
for the world to do what we must, force Israel to stop this abuse by taking
this war in Israel proper (what Palestinians are currently doing). Would we
not do the same as the Palestinians if Gambia was Palestine?
