OK, I feel beter that someone else shres my shock... I wasn't sure if it
was just me or not. When I heard the verdict, I was watching Channel 5 news
in Nashville, TN, and getting ready to go to dinner. I even had the remote
control in my hand to turn the TV off, and they said breaking news, and then
said the verdict. I couldn't beieve it, I was so upset. I can't remember
anything like that upsetting me so much, it sort of felt like the Rodney
King verdict, but worse.
Anyway, I'm not sure what to say about this, in an earlier message, someone
said that the prosecutors did not do a good job of prosecuting their case,
and that the prosecutors work hand in hand with the police. Does anything
think that maybe the case wasn't prosecuted well for a reason, I mean, think
about it. If these police officers would have been found guilty, then maybe
the prosecutors might have trouble working with the police in the future?
Just a thought.
Don't get me wrong, I'm not one of these conspiracy types or anything. I'm
just thinking...
Ginny
