Misunderstanding is the mother of all conflicts. They way to peace is
civil unrest as evident in the American History but we dont have that
can of open society where when one die everyone get mad like me.Its very
easy for 'dad'to spank others but 'dad'cant even show
compassion to 'Yai' maybe 'Yai'knows a thing or two about tolerance!
I cannot tolerate 'President Jammeh'because his results are terrible.
But if we go bananas about war how about my younger brother whose limbs
are already off at his knees by his last 'offense'of his
'margesty'.President Jawara was good to me because i sat right next to his
son in class and i did not feel intimidated, second groundnuts got sold so my
school fees could get paid.If we want back home we need not burn her to the
ground level. He taught us tolerance and compassion that 'Sir David'.
I need to be quaranteered the minimum lost of Gambians for any uprising.
Maybe i dont speak your language anymore but or boy am i so unfortunate.
I dont feel like explaining my stand for anyone but if you ask my true
friends instead of my so call friends they will still commend me for both my
honesty and mental alertness.Iam not the one whose name is on any wills
discovered! If my motive is questioned i get defensive because i have the
same rights to ask you of your motives did i question you,no
i assumed you had the talent to know that for the whole universe i wont
join in on a murder or evil. Thus y i cant help but say no if iam
ask to be your friend if i agree to push others overboard. Maybe when i was
young and ignorant, but now iam a free man with some degree of selfbelieve
that will not let me violate my brothers very existence.
If it was me and Your President one on one in a close room i will
make him cry tears of guilt because he has to be feeling very guilty
right now.
But i sense that some of my brothers here are out of touch with those on
the ground a bit, think of it as though your life is on the line
will you raise the banner of protest, maybe but you need others too.We
organise a protest in Newyork city, all we hard to do was to make enough
noise to attract enough attention with numbers ,i had friends who said i was
a crazy lunatic to cancel my call of duty at the hospital to attend a
fruitless march of protest, i got hurt not because i cant stand pain but i
cant seem to understand that kind of Gambian reasoning. No one Tv station
showed i personally called like ten of them.
Others in the struggle said the called too.First we need to open our plight
to the outside world then when we get their attention civil unrest maybe
unbloody. The idea of round table talk will not leave me.
i believe it can atleast make each others point known. If Yaya will not talk
to you and me he may talk to some white friends of ours or better
still Arab comrades or cubans perhaps i dont know,to be honest.
I tell you a little secret some will label you names so that they
can have a crowd arround you so they can throw stones at you.
I know my true friend here is a 'soul brother' he know what the struggle is
about but i had to scream unfriendly words at him so the other team can at
least talk to me.I only hope he excused me ,it always shows if someone is
your teammate, see their ultimate direction of the goal.
If you want to recycle pain dont you think you need a little privacy?
Even amateurs know that Alas !.......
