l do agree with you on the fact that the Imam is keeping his eyes closed to
many other injustices that he should address as well. However, the issue of
innovation is well documented and is the complete opposite of the most
fundamental aspect of islam, unity of worship. No, it is not something
unknown to muslims the World over, only to those who have no understanding
about the religion, but still insist that they are the ones who know what
they are talking about.
