Foroyaa wrote" It's an act of desperate folly for Gambian
political leaders to go all the way to London just to take
part in a briefing session with a British parliamentarian and
his collegues"

Desperate, yes. Folly, no. Foroyaa ought to realize that the
situation in the Gambia is serious. When the government sanctions
the killing of innocent children, abducts people and incacerate
them incommunicado, run kangaroo courts, hire and fire without
reason, plunges the economy into abysmal stages, ban people from
taking part in politics and continue to lie to our poor
farmers, What else do we want
the APRC to do before we start
seeing them for what they really are. Foroyaa, the Gambian
situation is desperate and desperate situations call for desperate
measures.

When shall you realize that you are dealing with "people" who
have no sense of direction, who remoreselessly presided over the
relentless and wanton carnage of our populace. Please lets not
downplay the London briefing because it is "Desperate".We are
desperate.

The meeting was not folly either, in that, it showcases our
plight as citizens who have very limited options where the APRC
is concerned. Being civil is not bearing any fruits in dealing
with APRC for they know not what civility is. WE should highlight
our plight to anyone whom we know can help us restore sanity
back to our homeland. If the British MPs
  are willing to listen,
it does not matter who tells them as far as they represent the
suffering masses in the Gambia.

Foroyaa wrote" all decent Gambians should ensure concerted efforts
to see that justice is done or have the regime exposed and
isolated" I think that was the whole purpose of the London
briefing.
