I WILL NEVER, EVER JOIN THE APRC GOVERNMENT-MC CHAM DECLARES-HE SAYS DARBOE IS HIS POLITICAL STAR!!!!!
  BY AN EDITOR
Alhagie MC Cham, former Minister in the First Republic has denied joining the APRC, saying that joining the Jammeh government has never cross into his mind. Mr.Cham, a veteran politician said the news on his defection to the APRC was brought to his notice by his colleagues and well wishers amidst wild reports circulating in the country that he and Assan Musa Camara had defected to the APRC.

MC CHAM SAYS ONLY DARBOE AND
  NO TO JAMMEH!!!!
Speaking from his Banjul home this morning, MC Cham, ran into laughter saying” Me joining the APRC? Me joining the APRC? No, no, no. That is not true. I belong to no party, but Ousainou Darboe.” said the popular politician, who spoke to the Freedom Newspaper Editor in an exclusive interview.
MC Cham, wondered why people should think that he will ever join the APRC. “I’m not going to ever, ever join the APRC. It has never cross my mind to join the APRC. “ Mr.Cham fumed.
His reaction followed the massive defection of self proclaimed opposition supporters to the Ruling APRC. MC Cham told the Freedom Newspaper that he had many name shakes who are called MC Cham, but he MC will never join the Jammeh government.
Attempts to reach Assan Musa Camara, failed as he was said to be out of his house at the material time. Assan Musa Camara, who was tasked with chairing NADD party actitivities never showed up at the Brikama Saturday rally, amidst reports that he joined the APRC. Mr. Camara is said to be disappointed by the opposition leadership on their failure to come together under one umbrella to launch a unified front against incumbent President Jammeh. This paper will interview Mr.Camara in due course to seek his reaction on his alleged recent defection to the APRC.
Editor’s note: To err is human and we therefore apologize to MC Cham and his opposition colleagues for any inconvenience our story might have caused to them. We have no intention of smearing his unshaken political credibility. Ours is to report the news and not to take sides. We appreciate his timely reaction to set the records straight. Once again, we deeply regretted any inconvenience this report might caused to Cham and his colleagues.
