Tombong,

I dropped by the Observer Offices this morning and had a chat with Sheriff
Bojang, Managing Director, about this unprofessional practise which he
regrets. He promised that the paper will refrain from the practise in the
future. I have little doubt that he will follow through on his promise.

BTW, the Friday Dec.13 edition of the paper has, in the Letters to the
Editor section, Jabou Joh's note accompanying her forwarded article to the
Gambia-L of December 9th entitled 'Beware of the new Quran' which gives the
impression that Jabou's note was a letter written to the editor of the
paper.
