Yusupha,
I think you are kinda reacting too much to the literal meaning of Saul's
position. Sure it is a pain in the butt to have the N word coming from a
person you can relate to in experience, colour of skin and otherwise.
especially if that person divides black people into different groups with
very unflattering name. I understand the venom of Saul's logic but it is
rooted in realism and his experienced even though this it seems to me is very
narrow and confined to Saul's milieu. but the important thing is this is
democratic forum. views must be entertained as diverse and ludicrous as they
might sound. in short we must agree to disagree and agree to agree. we cannot
all be on the same side of the fence. this is all the better for us and
surely would enrich and enliven this forum. Of course views have to sensitive
and tolerant to others experience and sensitivities; call it political
correctness but it sure does have a place here as it does everywhere.
I hope in the spirit of togetherness and unity of purpose, you will
rescind your decision to unsubscribe.
    Cordially,
Hamjatta Kanteh
