Folks, Yaya has been exposed again. Some of us suspected that his foaming
was just that. This is grounds for impeachment, but hey, if we packed
that Assembly with APRC snoozers, we are to blame. Because of his assault
on the hungry minds and hearts of our people, folks in Banjul almost had a
riot about some oil oozing in the streets. All, because a charlatan
hoisted a diskette supposed to contain the details of an imaginary oil
exploit. Well, now it is confirmed that the oil is in Yaya's peanut head.
Gambians should be pissed off as hell and should use that energy to get
rid of this menace of a thief and liar. He and his ilk bled us dry only
to then posture to turn us into zombies.

Gambians, our heaven and hell is right here on earth, so we better wake
up. We cannot wish this nightmare away and Sannehmentereng or the
corcodiles in Bakau are not going to deliver either. We are not living a
dream but raw reality. The first step to liberation is to stop letting a
village idiot take us for a ride with nonsensical thoughts. Stop seeing
this fool as a God-send; Stop believing that Yaya has magical means; Stop
believing that he has your interest when he wakes up; Finally, stop being
afraid of him or any of his thugs. They cannot do a darn thing to you
that you do not allow them to get away with. You have to deal with brutes
like him in their own language.

Not long ago he threatened that some of the opposition leaders are not
going to be around come referandum day. Well Tony, don't talk about it,
bring it on!!! Please take note, at some point, its either going to be
you or us, and that point is nearing. When the campaign begins, you shall
be matched word for word, and threat for threat. Your craziness will be
stemmed and it will be soon. If you intend to kill one of us, you might
as well plan to kill all of us, bucause it is either you or us, and I have
my last buck on us any day. Just touch a single person and you shall see.
You announced your bluff and you are going to be put to the test. The
Alliance is going to tell Gambians about the brute and beast in you in
clear and simple language for all to understand. That nonsense with some
villages threatening the opposition to not campaign in their areas is a
thing of the past. The Alternative shall campaign any where they please
with or without a permit and that is their right and they do not need your
corrupt and bought and paid judges for a ruling. So, we are ready to
begin when ever you are. Please take a look at what the oil industry
analysts are saying about our lunatic. Chem!!!

Another Twist to Jammeh's Oil Story? Doubts Raised Over Gambia's Offshore
Prospects

Gambia's amount of offshore crude oil reserves may not turn out to be as
high as President Yahya Jammeh and his government will have ordinary
Gambians believe, according to international experts on oil prospectus.

A report released by London's Dow Jones Newswire in February quoted
reputable oil industry sources as saying that there is just chance for
100-million to 200-million barrels of offshore oil in Gambian waters,
contrary to the gist of President Jammeh's announcement of a prospective
oil boom, which suggests large reserves of oil in her offshore geology.

Dow Jones is an independent global newswire, which plays the role of
provider of real-time business news across all market segments and data
platforms. It also provides enterprises and professionals around the world
with news and business information.

The 100-million to 200-million barrel figure being bet on by international
oil sources quoted by Dow Jones Newswire contrasts sharply with that of
neighbouring Mauritania, which is said to host up to 2 billion barrels,
while regional superpower and established oil producer Nigeria, has
reserve estimates ranging from 24-billion to 31.5-billion barrels.

In February President Jammeh was extensively quoted at home and abroad as
declaring histrionically that "there exists oil in The Gambia in very
large quantities" and that their exploration could begin in the short
instead of the longer term as initially thought.

However, Down Jones quoting industry sources asserted that the president's
comments, which weren't accompanied by numbers, were overstating this tiny
country's potential for oil.

"The former British colony - a narrow country that borders the banks of
the Gambia River and which is almost encompassed by Senegal - is a
destination for U.K. tourists and has a mainly agricultural economy that
relies on the export of groundnuts.

Local press reported unnamed companies had evaluated 500 square kilometers
out of 2,000 square kilometers of deep water, and 3,000 square kilometers
of shallow water of Gambia's maritime territories" Dow Jones reported.

"Jammeh hinted at help from companies and governments in Canada, Taiwan,
Nigeria, Turkey and Mauritania. He also took over the portfolio of Energy
from the department of state for Trade and Industry because he wanted to
fast pedal the search for oil, according to a local newspaper.

"Any discoveries off Gambia would probably extend into neighbouring
Senegal and possibly up into newly discovered fields off Mauritania, which
contain more oil than previously thought" it further indicated.

"Mauritania happens and suddenly people get interested," a Dow Jones
source said. "But (Gambia is) different geology to Mauritania."

"There appears to be no major oil company involved in the country to
develop the reserves. In 2002, the Gambian government didn't approve a
deal whereby Fusion Oil & Gas Plc would have farmed out the rights to
Amerada Hess Corp. (AHC).

The government declared its entire offshore acreage up for grabs again and
the little-known Canadian firm Buried Hill Petroleum has recently carried
out another seismic survey.

Fusion and Amerada Hess weren't immediately available to comment.

Gambia's coastline is so short, at around 50 miles, that it's unlikely its
offshore waters are large enough to contain much oil," the newswire
reported.

"It is moderately prospective territory," it quoted a second industry source.

It also quoted the president as vowing that an offshore rig would start
pumping small quantities by the end of this year, though this may be a
test well.

"There must be oil there," the first source added. "It's rank wildcard
frontier exploration. Now they've got to try and find someone to drill
it," the newswire reported, quoting the other.
