Even if the means involves killing more innocent people?  There is nothing
peaceful about the decision to go to war.  Why on earth are we spending
million or billions of dollars on the impossible when that could be doing
twice the good in educating people, feeding people, clothing people, etc.
It's like trying to kill cockroaches.  Maybe you get rid of the ones in your
house, but they still exist somewhere.
