Hello, everyone.  I just wanted to throw in my comments on this.  Basically,
I think that Africans and really anyone else, can take their culture with
them as they develop...  There is no need to totally discard one's culture
just because you start to develop and acquire technology...  Of course,
culture is a chagning process, and it is going to change to accommodate the
new development, but that is OK...
     I am not sure what else to say about it.  I know some have said
something about immitating the West and that Africans shouldn't do that.
But my feeling is, why not take technology and mold it to African cultural
ideals and traditions?
     I feel like I'm not making sense, so I guess I'll go for now...
