Folks,

A formation of an association to be called Washington-Gambia Chamber of Commerce is in the offing. This association, if formed, aims to promote commerce and industrial interests in our community.

The Washington Metropolitan Area has several emerging Gambian-owned and operated businesses in several fields. But, very little or none is known about these businesses. The Washington-Gambia Chamber of Commerce, if formed, will help promote all these businesses within and outside of our communities. The association will also help to provide employment counseling and opportunities for our community.

Washington-Gambia Chamber of Commerce will work with all other Gambian associations and institutions, notably the DC/Gambia Soccer Association, The Gambia Muslim Association and the Embassy of The Gambia(Washington) in making our community better and stronger in all facets.

Membership is open to every Gambian business owner/person. Also, those who do or would love to do business with our community are most welcome.
