news coming out from this site http://www.camara.dk/discussion.htm that Yaya Jammeh has announced his retirement from politics. Others claimed the announcement was made at GRTS. Can any of you confirm. If its in the affirmative, then is going to be a real turning point for Gambia. Read below what was written.

Yahya Jammeh has announce that he will not be seeking re-election in 2006. There is chaos within APRC as a power struggle has now emerged. Edward Singateh is currently lobbying to win the APRC nomination but this has gone well with the likes of FJC, Churchill Falai Baldeh and Isatou Njie-Saidy. Watch out for more news. Lamin Manjang
