Indeed Galleh. I was very proud to see some movement toward sober communion
in our professional circles. I commend your first board of governors without
whose support and dedication the project will have been delayed. It is
refreshing to see movement toward purpose and self-reliant achievement in our
communities. It should serve as inspiration to those among us who are satisfied in
endless prose and gaucherie.

The election of the board marked the great expectations that are being
manifested now and I encourage you to keep us informed and all of us to support
the GPU-USA. When I learned Fatou Jaw Manneh had been honoured with the
position of Deputy Secretary of the organisation, something overcame me. It was the
progress of mature thought and deserving recognition. Value-decision. It has
farther-reaching value than mere honour and I expressed thusly to Fatou. Her
coleagues at GPU-USA deserve the highest commendation and encouragement.

It is also apt to commend the pioneers of the GPU-USA in both PaSamba and
Joe Sambou among others for their vision and get-up-and-go-ance. I am very proud
indeed. The anniversary of Gambia's independence takes on new meaning. I
pray for Allah's/God's guidance and our due-diligence.

Haruna.

George, Abdoul, and Haruna, thanks for your kind comments on the GPU-USA
website. The project came to fruition at this time thanks to the collective and
dedicated efforts of our members who picked a domain name and got it
registered before I got fully involved in the project. Our PRO, Demba Baldeh,
particularly deserves great commendation in helping get this site up and running. We
invite all Gambians to patronize the site regularly as we are going to try
to make it very content-rich as time goes on. Again, thanks for your kind
comments.
