Mr  Conteh,

I  want  to  join  you  in  congratulating  the  brothers  on  their
books.  I  do  have  reservations  on  dealing  with  female  circumsision
from  a  religious  perspective  because  I  think  we  have  been
practicing  it  before  the  advent  of  Islam.  I  think  female
circumsicion  in  Africa  has  more  traditional  connotations  than
religious  influences.  Also,  until  I  get  to  read  the  book,  I
doubt  if  someones  western  ideas  will  affect  the  outcome  in  any
way.
