I am from the USA and am an Officer in the United States Army. I am trying
to locate Samsudeen (he allowed us to call him Sam) Sarr.

In 1991 a Captain in your army "Sam" Sarr attended a US Army course at Ft
Harrision, Indiana. I was in his class and my wife Kari and I became friends
with CPT Sarr. Unfortunately, after the course was over, CPT Sarr went back
to Gambia and we lost contact.

Having looked at some information on the Internet, a Lieutenant Colonel Sarr
was the Commander of the Gambian Army in 1999. Could this be the same
person? If so, what happended to LT Col Sarr?

Kari and I would greatly like to contact Sam Sarr. We have many wonderful
memories of our time in Indiana and would like to find our friend.

If any one has any information on Samsudeen Sarr please post it here or
email me at:

Thank you very much.
