Kabir,
Thanks again for forwarding that piece to the L. I have been following the
story very closely and this was a big defeat against Mugabe. His act of using
the poor and depressed population by tying the land issue with him staying in
power failed. He could have differentiated the referendum vote by polling the
land issue separately, but he thought that was the only way he could win.
I am happy he lost.
