thank you mr tunkara for the constructive reply. i am a willing servant of the gambia ,though am not a nationalist. i will not only be a cyber advocate but also in real political circle. you can follow some of my posting on the bantaba in cyber space under the pen name SANTANFARA. i was actually arrested once by yaya's hench men ,so i will participate in any positive and well plan program to systematically remove yaya ....in this process any means which will not endangared the lifes of gambians will be welcome.
i would also like to assure mr cham that i don't intend to participate in any criminal aggreesion against innocent gambians.
what i believe is that ,there are some gambians who should engage in educating the masses and some in affirmative action. some of you brothers are very good with the pen ,so use it wisely ,whilst some of us most so the willingness to take on yaya's henchmen if need arise.
dictators most always be on the back foot if not declaring themself God is the only word they wouldn't uter. the reason i stress on the oppossition parties being influencial is that the only time we hear of them is when election is coming and afterward woosse ,they are nowhere to be seen except some minor court cases . this system of weakness gives yaya ample time to plan well ahead . the brains of halifa and darboe is not effectively made use of .we all know gambians have been voting for dacades but there are some foundamental principle of democracy lacking in their understanding of politics.
in gambia today ,there is no tangible preesure groups to challenge the aprc government , we most be ready to do it in different ways. thanks.

I join others in welcoming you to this dignified post. As Gambians, it is
upon us to articulate our views and take actions against anything that
threatened or contravene our rights as citizens, even though we may come to
differ on what slant we take. And it is palpable GAMBIANS had quite a bad
experience over the years with regards to that view. And you are entirely
right to say that the president exercise prudence in communicating to us.
We must demand respect. I am however troubled by your assertion that folks
must show willingness to die for the course. I took note on your
willingness to be martyred... there is nothing wrong with that. The only
problem I seem to have is that we had seen so many people on this list who
voiced out such rhetoric and they suddenly wane. Hopefully you won’t be
like them. And it will be meaningful if we show that willingness and
strength to stand up to the president in the Gambia and not while we are
miles away and certainly not in the cyber world. I do not believe this
cyber thing. It is not unknown to have been ineffective.
Thanks
Lamin
