I am voluntarily Delisting myself from Gambia-L to protest the management's
penchant to regulate the speech of people especially those perceived to be
offensive. Unless the list adopts an outright policy of NEVER delisting any
member for ANY reason, I am not interested in participating. It is absolutely
foolish to attempt to regulate speech and I want no part of it. Let people
say what they want in any manner they choose including insults and rants. It
is an acceptable hazard of freedom of speech. We have been through this
never-ending cycle of absurd attempts at behavior control that has and will
never work. Let members be what they choose to be as free people.
