ILLIASSA WOMEN ADOPTS BABA JOBE AS 'FATHER'.

The women of Iliassa, Baddibu have adopted Baba Jobe, assistant Secretary,
Office of the President as their father.

Speaking at the occasion, Mr. Jobe said he was very happy with the move
taken by the Iliassa women, but appealed to the people to rally behind
president Jammeh and the APRC because it is the only government that could
bring development to the people of Baddibu.

He told the gathering that with the able leadership of president Jammeh, the
people of North Bank have got good roads, hospital and other infrastructure.
"Therefore, the people of the North Bank should know that the president has
not forgoten them".

He further said Gambians were lucky for president Jammeh was a God-sent
blessing.

Speaking earlier, the Chief of Fara Feni, Alhaji Sambujang Jagne commended
the government for providing the hospital and other important infrastructure
for the people of North Bank division and assured Mr. Jobe that the 114
villages in Upper Baddibu were behind the APRC and the President.

The meeting was attended by divisional commissioners, chiefs, alkalos, local
government officers, NAMs, APRC national deputy party mobiliser, Buba
Baldeh, Secretaries of state for youths and local government. Momodou Souma
Jobe chaired the meeting.

So, Baba Jobe has not been "done with" yet.
