Hi Astrid:
I also read somewhere else that we are now in the process of launching a
digital FM radio station, meaning the quality and range of boradcasts will be
much improved. Despite the good implications this development has on the
country, I think the lack of governement planning and foresight is glaring.

This is the kicker; one has to have a digital radio to receive transmissions
from a digital radio station. Given that the majority of Gambian probably
have analog radios, don't be surprised if a business controlled by Amodu
Samba and Tarek Musa and specifically for the purpose of marketting analog
radios pops up somehwere.

Such is the raping of the Gambian folk by unscrupulous business folk and
short-sighted leadership.

Chei!
