Please guys let us try and get the facts before writing any thing. You sound
like he has been unceremoniously recalled and his contract terminated. This
is not the case. Ambassador Grey-Johnson has been simply transferred to
Sierra Leone where the Government feels his services are more needed. I
believe the Government reserves the right to transfer any of it employees as
it sees fit. His contract did not say he will only serve as an Ambassador to
the US. His contract is not terminated neither is he fired. He is to take up
the post of High Commissioner of The Gambia to the Republic of Sierra Leone.
