Soffie, thanks for your forward and please keep us posted.  I hope the other
opposition party leaders are not going to fold their hands and let this
injustice to Waa continue.  If they all believe in due process under the
law, then I see no reason why they should not come out and challenge the
kidnapping of Waa.  Yes, this is a kidnapping, for none aside from the thugs
know where Waa is.  An injustice to one is an injustice to all.  Is the
opposition going to allow Yaya to be plucking them one by one?  Can't they
see that any one of them can be nabbed by these thugs any day any time?  Our
people also need to wake up and realize what's at stake here.  They cannot
wish these criminals away.  Gambians need to fill the streets if we intend
to take back our country.  Folks that think that they can work within this
system to effect any change are really deluding themselves.  So, we need to
forget about trying to rehabilitate these thugs, for that will never happen.
  I look forward to seeing the other party leaders use their leverage for a
change to stop this tyranny.
