Sidi,

Even though, I am a fanatic Gore supporter, I bet to differ with the
allegations advanced against the republicans (atleast according to your
piece) by the democrats for the complex design of the ballot papers/boxes.
According to this allegation, the puzzling ballot designs purportedly threw
Gore voters confused; thereby, voting for Pat. Suffice it to say, the
ballot papers were not the handy work of the republicans; hence, I think that
finger pointing is simplistic.

That said, I am not surprised by the immature reaction of G W Bush to the
whole situation because he is an idiot pure and simple; regardless of being a
Havard graduate. He is a disappointment to what that Ivy League stand for.

For the rest of the story, let us wait until 17 November 2000, for the
finally verdict when all the absentee ballots would have been counted.

Thanks for sharing your take on the US election.

Good night,
OB.
