I agreed with buharry because it was very interested to listening to the audio and waiting for the video as well.

I don't think you will given up because of two peoples words. many are interested to listening to the audio and waiting for the video as well. Its part of our horrible today's Gambian history. You will do a disservice to your listeners and viewers when you stop low because of few who want their voice to stays higher than the voice of the masses.

I still stay tune to the video broadcasting.
Keep doing your good work without censorship.

Hello Kebba!
Why do ask whose side I am on? I am not the author of
the videos. They were broadcast on GRTS and seen all over The Gambia. They
are being sold in The Gambia. They have been recorded and sent to Gambians
all over the world. I borrowed the videos because I was eager to see them
for myself after reading a lot online about them. I then thought that there
might be Gambians equally eager to see them. That is why I made them
available online.

Are you trying to censor me? Are you trying to tell me what I can broadcast
and what I cannot? The purpose of Raki Radio and TV is to make available to
Gambians audio and video that relate to Gambian music, history and culture.
I have broadcast a lot of material in the past ranging from Jawara
documentaries to the explosive Hamat Bah speech on GRTS, the NADD signing
ceremony and rally, the Kartong attackers interview on GRTS, Yaya Jammeh's
Meet The Farmers' Tour etc. The current videos and the events that brought
them about are a part of Gambian history. If you have followed the range of
topics and issues I have broadcast, you wouldn't try to accuse me of being a
propaganda tool. You would then realise that I have been as objective as
possible broadcasting material from across the political divide. Isn't that
what we are yearning to have in The Gambia? You cannot accuse Yaya Jammeh of
being a dictator and then turn around and try to censor what I broadcast
when it doesn't sit well with you. You might not think the material
appropriate because you might have a personal reason but there might be many
who appreciate my making them available. Just because you have a reason for
thinking that the material is inappropriate for broadcast does not mean that
everyone thinks the same. Isn't it that censorship and strangulation of
press freedom that has brought about the misfortunes of the independent
press in The Gambia and that we are yearning to correct?

In broadcasting these interviews, I am neither confirming nor denying the
validity or accuracy or inaccuracy of the statements contained therein. If I
wanted to do that, I would have edited them to suit my purpose. I however
broadcast them exactly as I got them. If I were to only broadcast material
from "my side", you would be bombarded primarily with images and audio of
Halifa Sallah, Sidia Jatta, Sam Sarr and other NADD personalities. I would
however not be objective then. Would I be? Thanks and have a good evening.

Buharry.
