End of extra-time: Senegal 2-1 Nigeria.
Senegal go through to their first Nations Cup final.
30 mins: Udeze is sent off after an off the ball incident.
26 mins: (extra-time) Omar Daf clears his area and puts the ball out of
touch to deny Kanu any chance of controlling the ball.
23 mins: Nigeria playing long crosses for Kanu but the Senegalese defend
doggedly.
21 mins: Moustapha Faye comes in for Salif Diao.
20 mins: Julius Aghahowa is sent off for a late challenge after the penalty
incident.
19 mins: Wilson Oruma steps up to take the kick. But his shot hits the post
and the ball flies out to the right. There is a melee on the right and
Senegal get a free-kick.
18 mins: There's a brawl amongst the players. the referee is trying to
separate the two sides so the penalty could be taken.
17 mins: Nigeria is awarded a penalty as Diatta brings Kanu down in the box.
17 mins: Oruma misses with a near header. Sylva had to catch twice to save.
16 mins: Kanu heads low inside the box but the ball rolls over the line for
a goal kick.
15 mins: First-half of extra-time ends. Nigeria had a corner but referee
Coffi did not allow it to be executed.
13 mins (extra-time): Tussle for the ball in the area. Lamine Diatta making
mistakes. The ball goes high and Sylva rises with relief to catch.
11 mins: Corner to Nigeria. Pape Diop heads it out of danger.
9 mins: Nigeria wins a freekick after Kanu was bundled over. Diao blocks the
shot from Oruma.
7 mins: GOAL Senegal 2-1. Diao does a one-two with Diouf, scuffs his first
time shot but it squeezes in passed the outstretched Shorunmu.
6 mins: Babangida latches on to a cross from Kanu but sends his shot across
the mouth of the goal and out for a goal kick.
4 mins: Both sides taking the game calmly now. Nigeria passing the ball
around and Senegal don't seem prepared to take chances.
1 min: kick-off of first-half of extra-time.
Full-time: The match goes into extra time as the score is locked at 1-1
after regulation time.
93 mins: Henri Camara comes off for Souleymane Camara
87 mins: GOAL Nigeria 1-1. Aghahowa saves the day for Nigeria again after a
moment of indecision between Diatta and Sylva.
85 mins: Garba Lawal fires a freekick from almost 40 yards.
