Hi Prince:
This humiliation of the Germans is not really a shock. The Germans while
once heralded for their football, have had their fortunes take a nose dive
lately. Any keen observer of German football who is old enough to hark back
to the great days of the likes of Karl Heinze Forster and Uli Stielicke
marshalling the defense, or the likes of Breitner, Berthold, Briegel and
Rummeniege marauding down the flanks, must really scratch tgheir in wonder as
it concerns the Krauts' recent dwindling fortunes.

But I think the game of soccer has changed. Gone are the days when a
tactically strong and organized side can win games by defacto. Most teams
have improved in this aspect of the game, for gone are the days when even the
weakest side can be constantly victimized by a tactically superior opponent
such as the Germans. This gradual improvement in tactical awareness by most
teams has been to Germany's disfavor. While the rest of the World has caught
up in the tactical aspect of the game, the Krauts have not improved interms
of the quality of player.

England on the other hand, probably has the most skillful set of players they
have ever had. The likes of Beckham, Owen, Ferdinand, Campbell, Eskey and co
are world class players. Put Goram Ericksson (Rommel) in the mix, and you
have someone that can put all the skill together to form a very formidable
side.

Nevertheless, i still don't rate England too high because if they face a more
skillful team, they shall resort to the same ole kick and rush system which
they are known for.

As for Senegal, I heard they just lost to Rennes of the French league
