Folks do read this article and join our support for Barack Obama's change to
the white house .

Regards

Fye.

      Dear friends,

*The US Presidential election campaign has begun*, and with it a chance to
turn a fresh new page on 8 years of disastrous US foreign policy. Experts
and people agree: *the best chance for change on global warming, human
rights, and war, is offered by one candidate: Barack Obama.*

The world can't vote in US elections. But Americans say they want their next
President to be someone who is respected by the world. So *global opinion
counts, and our best chance to be heard is right now*, as the American media
reports on international reactions to Obama's global travel this week.

*Let's show Americans how much the world hopes for the change that Obama
promises.* A great way to grab the US media attention is to send Obama a
global online "bump" (a gentle touching of knuckles that has become a
signature Obama handshake). *A million hopeful messages and "bumps", from
every nation of the world*, would be a powerful statement. Click below to
sign on, then *forward this email to everyone you know -- let's get to a
million!*

The "bump" comes out of the African American community -- Obama's wife
Michelle has called it "the new high-five". It's a message of both hope and
expectation, a call to act together. We'll deliver your bumps and messages
to the Obama campaign, and make sure that our effort is publicized widely
with journalists and bloggers in the US. But *we need to hit our target of 1
million to really make an impressive statement, so please forward this email
* to your friends and family!

With hope for change,

Ricken, Paul, Veronique, Iain, Graziela, Ben, Milena, Pascal and the whole
Avaaz team.
