 Shiny Black Gold

Down the paths and down the steeps
we came across heaps into the skies
millions of them pegging into clear skies
heaps of shiny black gold illuminating the world
-that be the long awaited comforter
to prove that black gold do exist
just like it existed from the time of creation.

Among the million heaps of gold aloft
tears rolling down memory facial cheeks
for an original sin of human kind
both the sinners and saints crying joy
as the sun lightens from the east
marking a new dawn for the world
like the historic dawns down memory lanes

Beautiful thick ebony skin of flesh
to be the leader of an era this wide
not since time immemorial
has a similar miracle descended
as mercy and hope to humanity
from God Almighty, (doer of whatever He wills)
raining bliss on mother earth in another life time.

At last! Behold! Hope for my two lovely kids
that the world will be a better place as time flies
I no more have to fear dying young
while groaning in the graveyard for Blackman's future
that people of all colors are truly equals before God
Obama has shaped the walk-way path
now and for generations to come.

Ode to that colorless Obama!
Ode to that America of hope!


Commentary: The poem above is a tribute dedicated to Prophet Muhammad
(SAW), Esa/Jesus
(PBUH), Barack Obama, Congressman Keith Ellision, John F Kennedy,
Martin Luther King Jr.,
Malcolm X (Malick Al-shabaq), Kwame Nkrumah, Abraham Lincoln,
Frederick Douglas, Rosa
Parks and to all those that deserve its true crown. The new dawn of
president-elect, Barack Obama
has inspired this poem of mine. I thank God Almighty for having me
witness this historic moment. The
long journey has proven one thing; loud and clear that all humans are
created equal before God. The
American people have done history for themselves here. The historic
moment is truly moving and
inspiring. Congratulations to Barack Obama, president-elect, USA. I
hope and pray God Almighty
will make him as a special mercy for all humanity, i.e. as the one to
unite all the nations -that peace,
tranquility, tolerance and acceptance will prevail among humanity.
