Eid-Mubarak; the beauty of True Islam.

Happy feast to all those that believe in Islam.

Here is true Islam. It gives courage and hope to everyone one. It guarantees you peace, unity and protection. It welcomes everyone. God’s worship is everything you do, as long as it is done in the ‘sunnah’/traditional way of the noble prophet Muhammad (PBUH.) A religion that means ‘peace’ and ‘submission’ started from Adam (PBUH) through all the great prophets and messengers ( Yusuf/Joseph, Nuh/Noah, Ibraheem/Abraham, Salih, Yunus/Jonah, Ismaila/Ismaeel, Musa/Moses, Dawud/David, Esa/Jesus and the many of them in generations known and unknown to humanity-PEACE BE UPON THEM) to the last one, Muhammad (PBUH.) The message of all of them is centered on God’s oneness, doing good and staying away from evil.

When people stand in rows, all you see is people. One cannot distinguish the poor from the wealthy; the sick from the healthy; the lettered from the unlettered; the black from the white; the leader from the follower; the easterner from the westerner; et cetera. This togetherness is beautiful and indeed worth reflection. With its teachings, it came to liberate all humanity.

I take this rare opportunity to wish everyone well on the celebration of the Muslim feast. Only God knows when next an opportunity to do it again. Therefore that ‘strife’ from all and sundry was necessary. The ‘weakness’ tendency is a human attribute, and it becomes a disease if it overcomes any. The opportunity always is ‘repentance’ and turning in humbleness to God Almighty. That door is always open for everyone.

To the non-Muslims, we still look forward to peaceful co-existence, tolerance and acceptance of one’s faith without misjudgment from individuals’ deeds. It reminds me of this Imam who after every sermon will tell his audience: “Every good in my speech is true Islam and from Almighty God. Everything that is bad is entirely from my weakness. Take the good and disregard the rest.”

Inspirational reference:

http://www.islamicity.com/mosque/quran/40.htm ; Yusuf Ali’s translated version.

(40:20) And Allah will judge with (justice and) Truth: but those whom (men) invoke besides Him, will not (be in a position) to judge at all. Verily it is Allah (alone) Who hears and sees (all things).

Happy feast!
Long Live True Islam!!

I share my love for the sake of none but God.
