Sidibeh,
Devil's advocate !

Cultural Ambassador
No, I am no longer cultural Ambassador I was appointed Ambassador for the international roots festival The office that appointed me has folded since Yankuba Touray was removed from the Ministry of Tourism and culture in 2004. I was in charge of promotions and intrnational cultural relations otherwise, publicity.

Propaganda bllitzs
To say that Gambia is a culturally rich country is an understatement, although many around the world are not aware of this fact. A far cry from the traditional music and tribal drumming, the Gambian culture is capable to manifesting in contemporary and innovative art as well. As over views on film, photography fashion, music and dance and design of a creative nation facing the futue, uninhabited. This is one reason good I favour The Gambia government to organisie all these Mega-Festivals in The Gambia as economic tool to support the arts.

Sampler programmes with the irrestabile demand of African art that has captured the hearts of millions around the world over the years are:
1.The World festival of Negro Atrs- Senegal 1966
2.The Soul To Soul-Ghana 1977
3.The Muhamed Ali vs Foremam Fight-Congo 1974
4.Festac in Nigeria-Negeria 1977

A Cultural and Panafrican Festival month/ Week of African Arts and educational events involving the arts and culture of the Caribbean and The Black Diaspora can be a wake call for for cultural awareness of The Gambian

Maybe Presidential plot behind your current efforts.
I was only adding value to the innovative piece written by brother Buharry, on the implications of the subject. I have always served the Gambian culture very sincerely.

Respect
