I doubt if anything will be said or done on this. Not when you have a
U.S Army General visiting Gambia at the moment (I just saw that news
item)...Jammeh knows where to scratch his behind...lol!:)
The current U. S ambassador is very tactful in the way she's handling
issues going on in Gambia and has been effective in her approach, so
far. This is the State Department's indirect condemnation of what is
going on vis-a-vis Janneh and co. The GPU has to seize the opportunity
accorded by the current ambassador to build on a momentum through the
U.S State Department. These are true, strong and good signals of
solidarity that must not allude the new GPU executive.
