Nancy, thanks for your response. You are right there is nothing wrong with
loosing a job. However, please read what I said in context. The man said
he left a job in the US, and I am telling you he did not a that is a fact.
What is wrong with me setting the record straight?

Secondly, Amadou was an expert on Yaya all the way leading to the 2001
Presidential elections and he switched because of his lack of principles and
I am in good company to challenge his principles. Folks jumped on him from
all corners for that too, so I am surprised that you are reacting to it now.
I don't know about you, but those of us who has seen Amadou run here and
there calling Jammeh all sorts of tyrannical names saw him as dishonest and
a disgrace as a political scientist to give that poor excuse he gave to be
in bed with Yaya. Yes, he has a right to free association, so do we as
citizens have a right to attack the principles of any, Amadou included.

Why is it that we as Africans always narrowly view any that questioned those
in office as Jealous? Why? Why does it have to be tearing down someone and
not taking folks accountable for their positions. If Amadou's recent
history and his new position did not exist, you and I will not be talking
about him as I write. This is the reason why tyranny and corruption is rife
with us, because there are those that will rationalize even the
indefensible.

You may be among the few that believe that Yaya is good for the country and
more power in denial to you. IF writing about Jammeh, Amadou, et al is
hating them to you then I say you are grossly mistaken. What some of us are
going to see to is that none will loot us and murder us to death without it
being discussed and fought against.

As for:

"Yeah,Mafy migth be called 'Mr soft ware engineer' as you decided to name
him."

Well, that was his signature when he was with us on-line and not my
immagination. It looks to me you are not even familiar with the writings of
both Amadou and Mafy.

"How come you get to know the number of Afra sesions one has to attend
inorder to get a job?.Are you dieing to attend one of the sessions.?

There we go again, do you really believe those of us taking Jammeh on need
him for anything? As I write whether you agree with me or not, your and my
country is almost crippled. Do you really believe the Central Bank crisis
is not as bad as we portray it. Even with the hundreds of millions of
Dalasis missing and folks in custody, we still have folks saying it is a
fabrication on our part. We are our worst enemy I see. FYI, Yaya did not
arrest these folks because of no Operation nothing, but because the IMF and
crew squized him for his gross incompetence. As for Baba Jobe, contrary to
what someone just wrote, I am of the opinion that both he and Yaya belong in
jail. What Baba Jobe stole combined, is a drop in the bucket compared to a
fifth of the damage Yaya put on you and I. Do you care to know how Yaya got
a Plane, when the country has none? Are you bothered about the almost half
abillion $s crude oil I and II that was diverted? Are you concerned that
the animals in Yaya's zoo are fully fed while Gambians cannot afford two
square meals daily? Are you interested in knowing about the Millions of $s
that Yaya and Ebou Jallow stole? How about the private Swiss bank accounts?
Don't you think all the moneys stollen from our coffers is the reason why
our nation is where it is today? How about the murders? I'm sure you are
aware of the April 10 massacre? Koro Ceesay, etc. If you are concerned
about these and much more, then I think you and I are in the same camp and
you are just afraid to voice it out. However, if you do not care about
these things, well enjoy your party in the Gambia.

Nancy, you are entitled to your opinion about the affairs of our country
just like any other. You may do well, but if you are truthful to yourself,
you know that ours is ruined. If you want to believe that Amadou is there
to change anything, then I have a Ram to sell you on the moon. Sorry, I
cannot respond to all the points you raised but kindly point any that are
more salient for me to elaborate upon. I'm glad you are speaking up though.
Do the same when the nation cries and not just when Amadou or Mafy are
taken on. To you they are the best thing that ever happened to Gambia after
"Mangoro", and to some of us sycophancy. Since you are in tuned with Mafy's
work as Minister, could you share with your fellow Gambians the good things
he's done since his tennure, aside from receiving a paycheck from the tax
payers? As acitizen, don't you think it is a legitimate question. Please
indulge us. Those days are gone when we keep mute while folks take us to
the gutters.

Chi Jaama
