Well, it seems that Suntou may have started the insulting of families,
etc., but Muhammad started the whole discussion by posting a message he
knew was going to start an argument then got upset at the result, even
though he was purposefully trying to be provocative. It's just
unfortunate that Suntou fell for the bait and took it.

What should have happened when Muhammad posted his "critique" of Darboe
was that it should have just been ignored, because he's not saying
anything that probably hasn't been said a thousand times before.

And I agree with Joe that politicians should be criticized, etc., but
let's wait and see if Joe is so quick to wax on about the right of
people to criticize politicians when it's someone else besides Darboe.
Because I can tell you that if anyone says anything about, hmmm, Halifa
Sallah, let's say, watch the claws come out then.

I think that all politicians, if they want to be in politics, need to
be ready for criticism and critique, and no politicians is better or
worse than the other. However, if we can't get past this
saviour/prophet mentality that many seem to have toward their
politican/party of choice, then a united opposition is going to end up
being a mere dream.
