Bro. Bailo,
Good day. I thought we will stop at Talibeh being scolded or whooped by that strict teacher.

Here, I will craft you a nice ending to that story.

In this particular instance, the student was admired by the beautiful women of that particular land, and during recitation of the Quran, he [Talibeh] attracts a lot of on-lookers, mostly women who admire the young promising scholar for that gift of voice-the ghaa, raa et cetera. On this fine day, there was this lady that the teacher was eyeing as a third wife for himself. So in as much I agreed that the “yaa” wasn’t there, but the student's weakness noticed only because of Ndey-Bintou's presence

Thank you for your interest,
Yero. > Date: Fri, 21 Sep 2007 14:07:15 +0100> From: [log in to unmask]> Subject: Re: Friday's humor: Talibeh and his Oustars> To: [log in to unmask]> > Yero,> > It will be interesting to read how it ends.> > Bailo> > Yero Jallow <[log in to unmask]> wrote:> 1. Talibeh & his Oustars> > This one is about a ‘Talibeh’, Arabic word for Islamic student. He was truly gifted with a melodious tone for recitation of the holy Quran. Often, people take pride in what they can do, and that is just fine. If memory serves me well, he is one of the Baldehs, anyways. Baldeh when reciting the Quran, lengthens the pull of the Yaas, alifs et cetera. On this fine day, during a recitation, he pulled a harfu (word/letter) that was not supposed to be pulled in support of his tone. The elderly Islamic teacher ( Oustars) has demanded to see the pulled ‘yaa.’ > _________________________________________________________________> More photos; more messages; more whatever – Get MORE with Windows Live™ Hotmail®.
