Gambia-L: The e-mail below, as usual, came from one of my sources in Banjul! Ebrima Ceesay ________________________________________________________________ Hello Ebrima, I keep telling you that the APRC ship is about to sink. Well, Tamsir Jallow, the APRC Majority Leader in the National Assembly, has not been attending APRC "compound meetings" (By the way, they (APRC) have now abandoned the idea of a rally because of the embarrassingly low turn out at their rallies) Anyway, since the end of the last session of the National Assembly when the Crude Oil saga was discussed and also the need for the establishment of a Parliamentary Committee to investigate the deal, Tamsir Jallow has been giving endless excuses for his "inability" to attend whenever a meeting is convened. In fact, he has confided in at least two people that he has no hope for the future prospects and direction of his Party. Therefore, the APRC is effectively without a Majority leader. There is so much in-fighting in their (APRC) Party that Dr Saja Taal is not now on speaking terms with many Party members. So it is believed that Tamsir Jallow, who never hesitated to defend Yaya Jammeh in the past, is about to jump the (APRC) ship. The rank and file of the Party are also complaining that it is only Yahya Jammeh who is "chopping" all the money and nothing for them. KEEP THE FIRE BURNING!! KEEP THE PRESSURE. I CAN SEE THE LIGHT AT THE END OF THE TUNNEL. Thanks as ever!! ________________________________________________________________________ Get Your Private, Free E-mail from MSN Hotmail at http://www.hotmail.com ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe/subscribe or view archives of postings, go to the Gambia-L Web interface at: http://maelstrom.stjohns.edu/archives/gambia-l.html ----------------------------------------------------------------------------
