Gambia-L: Another e-mail from one my source in the Gambia. Ebrima Ceesay _________________________________________________________________ Hello Ebrima, Tell the Gambia-L members that our strategy in dealing with these people seems to be working well. For your information, once his pending ministerial appointment was leaked on the L, Mr A.K.Savage must have felt the pressure from family, friends, colleagues and former students. So the good news is that A.K Savage is refusing or has refused to accept the post of Attorney General being offered to him by Jammeh. Consequently, desperate and confused Yahya Jammeh is now turning to Fatou "Bom" Bensouda. He sacked Fatou Bom not too long ago, but he has now turned to Fatou Bom and asked her to return to the post of Attorney General and Secretary of State for Justice. And as if it had not been just a few months ago that Fatou Bom Bensouda was unceremoniously relieved of her duties and humiliated before our very eyes, Jammeh is now saying that Fatou Bom was a good AG. Anyway, Fatou Bom, I know you read the L, so please this message is from someone who had earlier on objected to your first participation in Yahya Jammeh's cabinet. You refused to listen us and and as such, your reputation and integrity suffered as a result. "Bom", I know that there will be "family" pressure for you to return to the Cabinet so that those who benefitted from your first appointment will resume enjoying the the fruits of your labour as AG. But please, do not return to the Cabinet because Jammeh will only use you to do his "dirty job" for him while he stays in the background and continues his "illegal activities". Please, Bom, stay away and continue to work on rehabilitating your battered image following your participation in Jammeh's cabinet. Returning to the barbaric and corrupt Jammeh Cabinet will only breed further contempt from your colleagues, former friends and those members of your family who wished that you were never involved in the first instance. The choice is yours, but to return as AG for the second time would really be pushing your luck a little bit too far. IS IT SO DIFFICULT TO SAY "NO" TO BUTCHER JAMMEH? YAHYA JAMMEH AND THOSE OPPORTUNISTS HAVE NOTHING TO LOSE. You will be hearing from Members of the L and those members of your family who really love you. So, please, FATOU "BOM", SAY "NO" to Yahya Jammeh and continue your rehabilitation programme to re-enter society. Follow the foot steps of our good sister, Hawa Sisay-Sabally. ________________________________________________________________________ Get Your Private, Free E-mail from MSN Hotmail at http://www.hotmail.com ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe/subscribe or view archives of postings, go to the Gambia-L Web interface at: http://maelstrom.stjohns.edu/archives/gambia-l.html ----------------------------------------------------------------------------
