It is just ridiculous how most African governments would pull up the ethnic card when they are cornered, yet they condemn European racism whenever it shows its ugly head.

Did Baba Galleh Jallow and Yero Jallow ask the Immigration officers to where they will deporting them? I hope the Immigration officers are not making this fallacious equation: Jallow = Fulani = Guinea. If they do, then they need to go back to school and be taught their African history.  Anybody who assumes that all Fulanis are Guinean in origin must have read history upside down. Besides, what would be wrong with being Guinean in origin? The Gambia is a microcosm of nationalities whose origins can be traced to the "big bang" that occurred in Tilibo, what is the eastern fringes of the Mande and Macina empires or the Northern states of Waalo, Jolof and Tekrur.

If deportation is to take place, no Gambian will be spared the immigration trucks! I guess we will all drive out singing "For the Gambia..."
