Ebrima, I must commend your sources for all these powerful information it keeps supplying to the L through you. However, I can assure your informant that the US government is well aware of what Jammeh is up to. He is being well monitored. Some of us here on the ground have been well informed of his lobbying. Sine the time of Tombong at the Embassy, we have revealed and got information from their lobbyist who revealed to us that he was paid by Gamtel and the check was delivered by Tombong Saidy. He tried by all means for years to get Jammeh visit and meet with high ranking US officials, but to no avail. His services have been terminated since Jammeh's only visit to the US for he failed them so seriously, they thought. And to those who might not understand the political system here, the lobbying group first hired was very active in Gay rights activities and lobbying, so the Republicans did not open their doors to them very well. They control both houses at the moment. On this new strategy which Mr. Ambassador Bojang and the New York office is embarking on, the chances are more slimmer. The US government is well aware of the fact that Gambia government took a lot of money from Taiwan and Libya to furnish their Permanent Representative status in the United Nations. My advise to the jammeh government is that he has to respect his own people first. threatening to bury opponents six feet deep, killing our own kids, and butchering every opponent he could lay his hand on is not going to make him any more than he is, a Killer. The best lobbyist are the Gambians themselves. I would want to tell all those in the United States that they could be very instrumental by calling their local congress men and women and Senators to tell them how they feel. One might not be able to talk to them directly, but every single call is considered. One could send Emails too. Once again Ebrima, tell your sources to keep the struggle on. jammeh will exit soon.
