Brother Kanteh: I have been impressed by your informative postings on the trend of politics in The Gambia. It is of valuable importance that you continue to contribute for a free and democratic Gambia. At this critical moment of our struggle, we must take careful stock in galvanizing the silent majority to join our fight. While you have a right to disagree with any member of the opposition, I want to plead with you for us to ease our condemnation of members of our family tree. PDOIS, NRP and UDP are vital political organizations in the Gambia. Our duty as Gambians, is to advocate peace, compassion and love amongst our folks. Please let us agree in principle and stay away from self-inflicted ammunition. We cannot afford to give a field day to dictator yahya jemus. Halifa Sallah should be encouraged to change his strategy of engaging his political party into disaster. This principle in effect applies to UDP and NRP. A few days ago I was amazed at Lamin Waa Juwara's condemnation of Dr. Lamin Bojang, who sincerely called for opposition alliance. We will be doing the Gambian people disservice if we fail to unite. We cannot afford a second of the butcher of Kaninlai.
