On behalf of the Mid-West Ganbian Association, I would like to thank Dr.
Abdoulaye Saine and all the participants from Detroit, Minnesota, Madison,
and our friends from the Senegalese, Ivorian, and African American
communities, for making our Labor Day Conference and activities successful.
Dr. Saine’s paper, titled, “The Gambia at a Crossroads: Continuity or Change
In The Politics of a Nation In Crisis”, was very powerful and the discussion
that followed was also very engaging. I tip my hat to all that made it
happen and my belief in the power of the people is strengthened. As a
people we are making progress and with determination and persistence, we
will surely arrive at our destination – Progress, Peace, and Prosperity.
Hope to see more new faces next September.

Common People, Coming Together, Can Attain Uncommon Results.
