Hamjatta, Thanks for bringing this Jola Syndrome once again to the public debate. The Cassamance situation is gradually evolving into another fatal dimension. I recently learned some disturbing issues from very sensitive sources about the Kanilai-Cassamance drug trail. The Attika (MFDC armed wing) have mined the surroundings of some designated "sacred forests" where cannabis is culvitated, processed and transferred to Kanilai, for shipment to Europe usually under Gambian diplomatic pouch. The profits of this illicit trade is used to fill the separatists' war chest. This ethno-nationalist syndrome is soon to hatch into a full blown war in the sub-region. Greetings.
