Jabou, Thanks a lot for putting the chunk of our dilemma in layman's term, and I hope the oppositions are taking note. Because while the opposition parties are frantically trying to offer compromise solutions(such free and fair elections), Jammeh and his cohorts have decided on a fait accompli. Their message is very clear. They have no plans to leave office period. Perhaps it's time the oppossition change their alarm clock's setting from SNOOZE to ENOUGH IS ENOUGH. Reality check certainly warrants a revisit. We must remain vigilant but this 'Jammeh Mess' necessitates swift and drastic measures. Let's be honest! His is not an administration that measures their achievements by how well they are able to assess the needs, problems and challenges facing our nation, and the efforts and expertise they use to solve these problems and challenges. Rather, it is an administration whose every waking hour, every ounce of energy, every move, is spent on formulating strategies on how they can stay in office, and how they can murder, maim and eliminate anyone who does not lend a blind eye and unmindful support to their schemes. Therefore, they address only their plans, unmindful of the wishes of those they should represent, as if the offices they snatched are an inheriatnce they will hold for life. They never once consider that government belongs to the people, and it is they who choose representatives, and it is they who will ultimately decide who infact represents them. Those who are heedless of this fact will ultimately learn the bare facts the very hard way, and this situation is no exception.
