Hi Saiks, Great to hear from you again!. About the cold weather, I'd say on second thoughts that the more the better because it makes these places less homely than home. You know what I mean? And about launching a campaign to get President Jammeh's honorary Doctrate revoked, I would like to say that we should not be tempted to throw out the baby with the bath water, as the Americans would say. Even though the Canadian program might have gotten Jammeh an undeserved honorary degree, the benefits that it brings to many Gambians outweight the disadvantages of yet another title for the President. Besides, what if we succeed in getting the Canadians to strip Jammeh of his honorary degree, and he ends up scrapping the program with them? A lot of innocent people would end up being hurt more than Jammeh. Furthermore, given that Jammeh is going to leave office sooner or later, I suggest we wait until that happens, and then we consider a campaign to strip him not only of his honorary degree, but everything else he does not deserve. At that point, he would certainly not be in a position to deny Gambians their University education. As they say in Mandinka: domang, domang ... Have a great week, and best wishes. Dear Katim, Too cold here too !!!!! Lastly I have been reading here about the DR decoration of President A JJ Jammeh and one thing I have been thinking of was that, we need to get in touch with this university in Canada and the human rights organisations there to parcel to them some of the records of the president and see what the possible reaction might be from them, your self and Dr Saine might be a very good force to lead such a champagne. And I have no doubt that if there is the need to invade them with protest letters from Gambians, members of the GL will do a good job.No stone must be left unturned on the way to victory,Or any other better idea ?
